Hamilton Real Estate Group is pleased to announce the successful sale of the former Women’s Shelter headquarters property located in the 800 block of West Center Street.

This closing marks the culmination of a process that began in March 2024 when Women’s Shelter Development Director Barb Schram approached Hamilton Real Estate Group for assistance. At the time, the State of Minnesota had announced a $100 million grant program designed to help nonprofit organizations expand their reach and impact. While the Women’s Shelter had a compelling vision, securing a significant grant award required demonstrating a clear and achievable plan for future growth.

To help bring that vision to life, Hamilton Real Estate Group assembled a development team that included CRW Architecture and Mohs Construction. Together, the team designed and budgeted a new facility tailored to the Women’s Shelter’s long-term objectives and mission.

The effort proved successful, with the Women’s Shelter receiving grant funding for the project. The new facility opened in December 2025, providing expanded resources and services to the community.

Following the completion of the new development, Hamilton Real Estate Group was entrusted with marketing and selling the organization’s existing real estate holdings. The sale of the former headquarters property represents the final transaction in that portfolio disposition process.

Hamilton Real Estate Group is honored to have played a role in helping the Women’s Shelter secure funding, expand its operations, and further its mission of serving those in need throughout the region.
